Sessions and Prices
Overview
The nursery is open Monday - Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm.
We are open for 38 weeks of the year, closing for all school holidays.
We offer funded and non-funded sessions during these times. Funded places start the term after your child turns 2/3. Children can start with us as soon as they turn 2 or 3 and will be charged at the hourly rate shown below until eligible for funding. Sessions
Funded session:
Morning 8:30am - 11:30am
Lunchtime (hot meal at an additional cost) 11:30am -12:30pm
Afternoon Session 12:30pm - 3:30pm
Full day 8:00am - 3:30pm
We can offer some flexibility during our opening times.
Additional hours over child's funding will be charged out our hourly rate (please see below for prices)
Prices
All children aged 3 and 4 will be able to access 15 hours funding.
Children from the age of 9 months with working parents may be entitled to funding. Some 2 year old children are eligible for 15 hours funding.

Hourly rate for 3 and 4 year olds : £5.00
Hourly rate for 2 year olds : £6.00
Hourly Rate for 12 months - 2 years : £7.00
Lunch is provided for all children attending for a full day/ lunch session. The cost of a hot lunch is £3.00
Prices effective as of 1st January 2026.
A healthy mid-morning and mid-afternoon snack and drink are provided at no additional cost.
What We Charge For?
At Twiglets Nursery, the only things that we charge you for is a hot lunch and additional hours if your child is funded and they attend over their funded hours. We do not charge for consumables such as nappies and wipes but we ask that parents provide these for their child each day they attend nursery.
We do try to encourage parents to order their child a hot lunch as we believe this benefits the children but this not compulsory and you may provide a packed lunch if you wish to. Below if a link to the Autumn/Winter Menu provided for by NutriFresh
